Privacy Policy (POPIA)

Effective date: [to be set on publication]. This policy explains what personal information this website collects and how IRIS-AI handles it under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

1. Who we are

IRIS-AI (iris-ai.co.za) helps South African businesses reduce security risk and cost through managed CCTV, offsite monitoring and AI video analytics. We operate from Bldg B, Bryanston Corner, 18 Ealing Cres, Bryanston, Johannesburg.

We are responsible for the personal information this website collects, and we process it in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

2. What we collect

When you submit a form on this website (a general enquiry or an ambassador enquiry) we collect the details you provide: your name, company, email address, phone number, how you would like to collaborate, and any message you include.

We also store a simple consent flag in your browser when you accept or decline this notice, so we don't ask again on every visit. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

3. Why we use it

We use the details you submit only to respond to your enquiry: to contact you about your enquiry, to discuss becoming an ambassador, or to follow up on a request you made. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists through this website.

4. Where it is stored and who can see it

Form submissions are stored securely in our database and are visible only to the IRIS-AI team members who need them to respond to you. Access is limited by role, and the data is not shared with third parties except where required by law or where a delivery partner needs the minimum details to serve your sites under our supervision.

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain a reasonable record of the relationship, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights under POPIA

You may ask us at any time to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to correct or update it, or to delete it. You may also object to our processing of it or withdraw consent you previously gave. We will respond within a reasonable time and confirm what we have done.

7. How to contact us

For any privacy question or request, email tyron.springer@guardianeye.co.za or call 082 774 7108. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will publish the updated version on this page, with the effective date shown below.
